I hope all is well. I wanted to thank you again for all that you did for our
family. Arielle still LOVES you all dearly and can never pass the school or the
area near the school without commenting on A+ Preparatory. I wanted to share
with you how successful her first year of kindergarten was.
Although they did
not say it I know that she was the valedictorian of the kindergarten class.
Arielle was the only child chosen to be on the program for awards day. During
the school year she placed first in the spelling bee in her homeroom class and
placed overall 2nd among all the kindergarten classes combined. She was the TOP,
number one reader for the entire kindergarten class….reading on a 2nd/3rd grade
level.
She received a
number of awards for her academics and behavior. She has represented you all
very well and I just wanted to let you know and to say thank you. I do feel that
Ms. Hudson had a big impact on Ari in so many ways. She still misses her and
speaks of her often. She can’t pass up a Snicker Candy bar in the store without
reminding us that that is Ms. Hudson’s favorite candy.
I can always
remember when we first started at A+ how adamant Ms. Hudson was for Ari to learn
her sight words and it has paid off. In the beginning of the school year her
teacher quickly learned that Ari was far more advance with her sight words and
began to give her a separate list from the other kids that were “supposed” to be
more challenging but she would breeze through them as well. Once her teacher
figured that out they started giving her a list and required her to spell them.
This too was pretty easy for her because Ms. Hudson gave them sight words each
week that they were required to know by Friday…lol!!! Everyone in the school,
from the principal to the janitorial staff, knows her very well and constantly
compliments her for so many things. Arielle has adjusted well to her new school
and we just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!!!!!
A+ will forever
be the best day care/school around and we are forever grateful for Ari having
the chance to attend. When you all moved to the Ellenwood area you all were a
life saver for us. We needed something better than where we were and you all
showed up just in time. Arielle will forever be GREAT for ALL of the things she
received there and we can’t thank you enough. If you ever need me/us please feel
free to call and we will do our very best to be there. We love you guys and we
are forever a fan!
